7 points about the CBSE class 10th result
According to the latest tweet by the School and Education Secretary of the Human Resource and Development Ministry, Anil Swarup, the CBSE class 10th result is going to be released by 4 pm today, i.e. May 29 on the official websites of the board. Anxiety builds up as the CBSE paper leak scandal happened, followed by the cancellation of re-examination of the leaked papers, and finally the class 12th results coming out 2 days ago. Meghna Srivastava topped the class 12 board with 99.8 per cent marks.
Here are 7 things you shouldn't miss before the CBSE class 10th result
1. Dates
These examinations for class 10 were held from March 5 to April 4, 2018. Last year, these results were announced on June 3.
2. Official websites
The official websites to check your results are cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.nic.in. To check your results, keep your admit cards ready. After logging in, follow the link that says Class 10 results. You will then be required to fill in your exam roll number, date of birth, etc. Download and take a print out of your result for future reference.
3. Alt websites
In case the official websites hang, which mostly is the case due to intense traffic, you can also check the alternate websites that host CBSE class 10th results. These are examresults.net, google.co.in and indiaresults.com.
4. Result through SMS
In order to get your results through SMS, type CBSE10(roll number) and send it only for 50 paise charge per message. CBSE has provided different numbers for different networks to send this message.

5. DigiLocker
CBSE has also given the provision of getting your marksheets through DigiLocker service registered with the govt of India. You can get your DigiLocker account credentials on your Registered Mobile Number. The website for accessing the locker is digilocker.gov.in. You can also access this locker through Android and iOS mobile phones.
6. Microsoft
You can also get your CBSE class 10th result 2018 through Microsoft Search Engine, www.bing.com, and it's SMS Organizer App which you can download from your Play Store.
7. UMANG app
CBSE has also developed a personalised app called UMANG, which is available on Play Store for Android, iOS and Windows smartphones. You can check you class 10 results here, too.
